REAL TERROR!

According to this news article the Evil gnome is back terrorising innocent victims in a Santiago de Estero, Argentina. In this video you can see this small figure running across the street into dark bushes... Though no red eyes can be seen within that darkness, it's still pretty fucking creepy.

Though there are big cultural differences between South American culture, and the west, i dare say NO KID who wanted to hoax something like this would dare send in a video of themselves dancing like girls.

This must add to their depression right now, having just lost a world cup qualifying game to long time Rivals, Chile.

Chi- Chi- Chi Le-le-le.
Viva chile!

Do I just not know real desperation?

Would you honestly go so far as to get a tattoo on your face to score a job?
These poor souls did.

This really does make me wonder how desperate some people are in the world.

We've heard of people eating people to stay alive, and hell, sure, eat a dead guy to make sure you're not dead.

You think these guys would have questioned why they needed to get a tattooed face in the first place?

And what about the prankster? I want to know who that guy was!

Thoughts like slippery fish?

Am I the only one who has really great thoughts, right when they don't have any way of writing them down?...

slippy little suckas....

What Everyone's talking about.. The American Election

bamaThis election sure is an interesting one.

I watched the presidential debate last week, but unfortunately missed the vice presidential debate.
have been keeping my eye on the election. I caught the first McCain/Obama debate... And.. well... Obama's main theme was :

"Things aren't working, lets do other things and see how we go. We're big on energy, okay, lets get ourselves independent, so we can control price. People are important in america, lets rebuild health care. We shouldn't have gone to Iraq, but lets let that go, and start letting Iraqis take care of Iraqi's while we go back to Afghanistan and finish what we started"

While what I got from McCain was :
"I'm more experienced... Don't you worry your pretty little head, I'll take care of everything. I won't tell you how, you don't need to know, you don't want to know"

Seems patronising, and arrogant to me. McCain wouldn't even LOOK at Obama.
And Obama, well. He couldn't even get McCain's name right.

So many Americans I've seen online commenting on it all still say they'll vote republican at this election, and I have a theory.

I don't know if this is that simple as I am not aware of who voted for what bill in the past, I doubt the majority of Americans would either.

But. Do Americans have Abused Child Syndrome?

They're so used to having governments who are more business minded, than people minded that they don't BELIEVE when someone promises talks about treating the people better?

That makes sense to me. Obama talks about reforming the health care system, Raising the minimum wage, and help families, and people get scared, and divert your attention to how the democrats made sure this bailout went through.

To an outsider it looks like Americans say "No" to the good things about a socialist government. IE- taking care of each other.
Automatically people will take advantage and there's that "I don't want those people getting my tax money!" kind of mentality.

Are Americans really that cynical?

Are Americans really a people who vote for their party because of intricately spun ideology instead of policy?

Am I completely off tack here, talking shit without enough information?

I DID ask my favourite american artist and he said this:

"
I liken it to Stockholm Syndrome, where the captive protects the captor. Sometimes I liken it to the beaten wife who defends her man."

Intersting times indeed...
